For Essential Oils, there is so much information out there! It can be overwhelming! Here are a few things that I have found helpful to get started:
Modern Essentials Book This book is great because it provides information about each of the oils and doTerra oil blends. While it can be used with other essential oils, it is geared towards doTerra products, specifically.
You can also find recipes in this book as well as look up helpful oils based on ailments (look up the ailment – say, warts – and it will tell you the oils that are useful)
This specific edition is the newest edition. I have an older edition that's great, but you have to pay for shipping on that one. It might save you a little money to go with an older edition but may not have as much info. Something to consider.
The Complete Book of Essential Oils and Aromatherapy I don't personally have this book. However, it gets amazing reviews on Amazon!
If you want to order additional products, you can do that HERE. You can also find recipes here as well as the option of signing up as a wellness advocate.
Should you want to consider becoming a wellness advocate, here is brief info. It's like a Costco membership – you pay a membership fee of $25 and get discounts on oils. Plus, by becoming a wellness advocate, you get a free bottle of Peppermint! There are also monthly specials = free bottle of _____ if you order so much in oils. Examples of the discounts with membership include Lemon for $10 (normally $13.33) and Lavender for $21 (normally $28).
So if you like the oils, it definitely pays to become a wellness advocate just for the savings. Plus, it gives you the ability to sell the oils to friends and family yourself, allowing you to earn a little commission just by using a product you feel good using.
