Homemade Candy Christmas Tree Pretzels

"Melted candy melts drizzled over pretzel sticks and then decorated with holiday sprinkles. These candy Christmas tree pretzels are cute edible treats that have many different uses and will delight kids and adults alike!"

MADE IN A PINCH

– dark green candy melts – bright green candy melts – cake decorating pastry bags – Kitchen shears – Wax or parchment paper – pretzel dipping sticks – Wilton Sweet Isomalt Sugar Gems, red and clear – White snowflake sprinkles

Ingredients

1. Melt the dark green candy melts according to package instructions. You can either melt them over a double boiler, or in the microwave. (see note below)

2. Drape a pastry bag over your hand, fill it with melted candy, and cut the tip of the bag with kitchen shears.

3. Place a piece of wax paper or parchment paper over a tray or baking sheet. Place the pretzel sticks on the tray.

4. Drizzle the candy melts back and forth, making the melted candy wider as you go to create the shape of a Christmas tree.

5. Immediately add some red and clear sugar gems and some white snowflake sprinkles. (see note below)

6. Repeat the previous steps with the bright green candy melts for the remaining pretzel sticks. Try different shapes and designs to make different types of tree shapes!

7. Once all of your candied trees are decorated, place them in the refrigerator to set for approximately 5 minutes.

8. Then, after your trees are set, they’re ready to be enjoyed!
