Chocolate Peanut Butter Energy Balls

These Chocolate Peanut Butter Energy Balls are perfect on-the-go snacks for kids. Enjoy them after school, at your kids’ sports practices (or games), or on a hike for a burst of energy and satisfied tummies.

MADE IN A PINCH

– 3 cups old fashioned rolled oats – 1 cup warmed peanut butter – 1/2 - 3/4 cup maple syrup – 1/3 cup chocolate M&M's – 1/4 tsp cinnamon – 1/8 tsp salt

Ingredients

1. Warm the peanut butter in a microwave safe bowl on high for 20 seconds.

2. Add all remaining ingredients in a large bowl starting with 1/2 cup maple syrup.

3. Stir with wooden spoon until well mixed.

4.. Scooped 1 1/2 - 2 tablespoons of mixture and press mixture together with your hands to get it to stick together.

5. Roll into a ball and place on parchment lined cookie sheet.

6. Repeat until all of the mixture has been rolled into balls. (Use extra maple syrup if you can not get the final balls to form.)

7.. Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.

8. Remove and allow to come to room temperature before serving.
