Baked Stuffed Pasta Shell

Jumbo pasta shells are filled with a creamy mixture of cottage cheese, mozzarella, and fresh mint, then baked in rich marinara until golden and bubbly. Pair it with garlic bread and a side salad for a full family-style dinner everyone will love!

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz Jumbo Pasta Shells
  • 16 oz Cottage Cheese
  • 16 oz Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 2 tbsp Fresh mint
  • 1 Egg
  • 3 cups Marinara Sauce

  • 9X13 Baking Pan
  • Large Mixing Bowl
  • Aluminum Foil

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Cook pasta shells – according to package directions then set aside for a moment.
  3. Mix cheese filling – While pasta shells are cooking, combine cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, mint, and egg in a large bowl.
  4. Fill baking pan – Put a thin, even layer of pasta sauce in the bottom of a 13 x 9 baking pan. Fill each shell with cheese mixture and place in pan on top of sauce. Top stuffed shells with more sauce covering all parts of the pasta.
  5. Bake stuffed shells – Cover pan with foil and bake in oven for 35-45 minutes or until bubbly.
