Healthy Strawberry Bread Recipe

This easy strawberry bread recipe will leave the kids (and you!) begging for more! Super moist, flavorful, just sweet enough, and with an added protein boost you gotta try this strawberry bread.

Servings: 2 loaves

Ingredients
  

  • 2 10oz packages frozen strawberries thawed
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 4 eggs slightly beaten
  • 3 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease two muffin tins or two bread loaf pans.
  2. Mix together first 4 ingredients together in a medium bowl. Mix the dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
  3. Pour liquid ingredients into the bowl of dry ingredients.
  4. Bake bread loaf pans for 50-55 minutes; if baking in muffin pans, bake for 20-25 minutes.

Notes

Baking Times Note:
  • A loaf of bread in a regular metal bread pan should bake for about 50-55 minutes.
  • If you're making strawberry muffins, then bake time drops to 20-25 minutes.
  • Pro Tip: your strawberry bread (or muffins) will be done when you push lightly in the center of the bread and it springs back.
