No-Bake Energy Ball (Kid-friendly recipe!)
Ok, today we have a delicious, super easy and super portable, kid-friendly snack to share with you. It’s the no-bake energy ball! With only four ingredients, it’s so easy to make that the kids will have a blast helping you make them!
Try making these snacks with other nut or soy butters to avoid allergy issues!
Because these can be a little sticky, try refrigerating them or freezing them if you plan to take them to sports practice or somewhere warm. That way they will stay cold (and less sticky) for longer! Pack those wipes for cleaning hands, but I think that the kids will be so busy licking off their fingers that they won’t need those wipes!
Additionally, we will be adding a non-nut butter version very soon, so stay tuned!
- 1.5 tbsp nut butter (Whole Foods brand orgainc peanut butter)
- 3 tbsp oats (Organic loose oats, Whole Foods)
- 1/2 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tbsp dark chocolate chips (Ghirardelli)
Put everything in a bowl, stir it up and eat! Alternatively, roll into a ball.
Store in refrigerator.
