Heat ice cream in the microwave for 1 minute just to make the ice cream soften. It should get soft but still be cold.

Put 3 - 4 tsp of soft ice cream into each popsicle mold. Place molds in the freezer for 2 hours, until frozen.

Slowly pour root beer into popsicle molds. The soda will fizz, so use a spoon to help reduce the fizz if needed. Repeat until all molds are filled.

Place popsicle stick in the molds and freeze for 4 - 6 hours.
