Starbucks Strawberry Cheesecake Frappuccino is a crowd-favorite on the Starbucks summer flavor menu!

While Starbucks’ Strawberry Cheesecake Frappuccino is as tasty as it looks, it comes delivering more calories, fat, and ingredients than I’d care for! And that’s not to mention the hit to my monthly budget.

But it’s a drink I LOVE – so I got to work creating my own healthier (and cheaper) version at home.

And the results are SO good that I have no doubt you’ll love it as much as I do! I don’t even miss the daily trip to the coffee shop!

Expert Tips

Frozen Strawberries – using frozen strawberries gives your drink that cold smoothie texture that we’re shooting for. You can use fresh berries, but it will make it warmer and runnier.

Texture – I like to make my drink pretty thick, but the great thing about making it yourself is that you can make it thicker or thinner according to your own preferences!

Best Milk For A Strawberry Cheesecake Frappuccino

You can really use any type of milk you prefer, but just keep in mind that each has its pros and cons. Here are some ideas!

  • Whole or reduced fat milk – It’s always a great option unless you have a dairy intolerance. Keep in mind that it has higher fat and calorie content than other options.
  • Soy milk – A great all-around option and offers sweetened or unsweetened varieties.
  • Almond milk – I opted for almond milk because it has fewer calories and fat, making it healthier.
  • Oat milk – Oat milk is thick and creamy, which makes a great, thick smoothie-like drink.
  • Coconut milk – Coconut milk does have more calories and fat than many other options, plus it adds a milk coconut flavor.
