Nothing helps build excitement or gets kids in the holiday spirit like making holiday-related crafts!

My kids and I recently made this Halloween bookmarks craft project and had so much fun with it, that they asked me to share it with you!

Step 2: Cut an orange strip from the crafting felt. The width of this should be at least 1 to 1.5 centimeters.

Step 3: Cut a head-shape from the green craft felt. Take note that the witch is a woman so the silhouette of the hair on each side of the face should be prominent.

A Few Notes about Making This Easy Halloween Bookmarks Craft

If you’re making these bookmarks at home and can give your younger kids some help, this is a great activity for any school-age child.

However, in a classroom setting these bookmarks are going to work best in upper-grade classrooms (3rd or 4th grade and up) because kids do need to be able to cut and wrap fairly accurately.

Because of the danger of getting burned with the hot glue gun, I strongly recommend having adult help or supervision for the gluing portion of this craft until 6th grade.

You can personalize the witch bookmarks craft with colors and different shapes to suit your own personality!

You can also make several of these for your friends, or this can also be a good treat for the trick-or-treaters this coming Halloween.

I hope you liked this easy Halloween bookmarks craft!
