Halloween Class Party Ideas Part 2
I promised I would be back with pictures, and here I am! I even have printables for you to make your life a little easier!
The other moms in my son’s class and I met to decide what we are doing for the party. We decided we are feeding the kids pizza and bread sticks, some fruit and veggies, and we will let other parents bring in Halloween themed treats (cookies, cupcakes, etc).
For a craft, we decided to do a Halloween chain. I made one as an example, but it can be made with many variations. You can take the printables and have the kids color them, print them out on colored paper, or cut them out and use them as stencils to add your own flavor.
Start with cutting out strips of paper 1 inch wide. Use black, orange, purple or any combination of these colors.
Take the strips of paper and connect them together to make a chain. You can glue them together. I chose to staple them to save time. Our class party happens at the end of the school day, so there isn’t enough time for glue to dry before kids have to carry their craft home.
Next, cut out the shapes you want to use. I took a utility knife and used it to cut slits in the upper portion of the shapes so that I could slide the strips of paper into them.
And voila! Here is the finished product! I am including several printables for your use. Feel free to pick and choose what you want to use, or print them all out and use them all for a class party – let the kids pick!
Happy partying!
