Easy Mango Popsicles
These incredibly delicious Mango Popsicles are so refreshing, and they make the perfect healthy summer treat for the whole family.
Popsicles are so delightfully fitting for summertime. The combination of cold and sweet on a hot day is incredibly satisfying.
My kids are big-time dessert lovers and ask for ice cream almost every night after dinner. Now don’t get me wrong, I am a HUGE ice cream lover but as a parent, I want to be able to offer healthy options that they will love just as much…..or more than ice cream.
So I started making homemade popsicles with fresh fruit. Mango popsicles may be my favorite type of popsicles. They’re just SO good!
These mango popsicles are a huge hit with my family and you really can’t get any more healthy and delicious than a fruit-filled popsicle, wouldn’t you agree?!?!
They don’t last long in the freezer so I make as many as I possibly can at one time. LOL
The most significant problem I have with making these popsicles is waiting for them to freeze. I have learned not to rush this process or they will not be set up when you remove them from the mold.
I like to keep a batch or two in the freezer at all times so you can imagine that my blender stays very busy in the summer.

Ingredients Needed For Mango Popsicles
- Mango Chunks – frozen or fresh
- Greek Yogurt – vanilla full-fat yogurt will work well too
- Honey – Agave is a good choice as well
- Cornstarch – helps keep the popsicles creamy
- Water
How to Make Mango Popsicles
Step 1
In a blender, add mango, yogurt, honey, water, and cornstarch. Blend the mixture until smooth.
Step 2
Once the ingredients have been blended, the mixture will be pretty thick. To thin out the mixture, add up to 1/2 cup of water.
Add small amounts at a time until you achieve the desired consistency.
Step 3
Pour the mixture into the popsicle molds. Place popsicle sticks into the center of the mold opening. Freeze for approximately 5 – 6 hours or until popsicles are completely frozen.
Step 4
Remove popsicles from the molds. If needed, you can run the outside of the mold under warm water to loosen the popsicles from the molds.
Mango Popsicles Recipe Notes And Tips
- Use regular vanilla yogurt if you do not like the taste of greek yogurt.
- Greek yogurt is tangier so you might need to add just a bit more sweetener than the recipe calls for. Be sure to taste the puree before freezing to make sure you are pleased with the flavor.
- You can substitute whole milk or coconut milk in place of the yogurt if you do not care for yogurt.
- Some molds automatically come with popsicle sticks, but if yours doesn’t, don’t forget to pick up a big pack of sticks….you are going to need them. 😉
Variations Of Mango Popsicles To Try
Here are a few ideas to help make your homemade popsicles perfect every time – or change it up when you want something different!
- Replace fruit with fresh or frozen, pitted cherries. YUM, YUM, YUM!
- If mangos are not your favorite fruit, try making these popsicles with strawberries, blueberries, kiwis, raspberries or pineapple.
- Find some fun popsicle-shaped molds to try. The kids will love it! 🙂 I found dinosaur-shaped molds that are so cute. I may have to splurge and get some Mickey Mouse molds too.
Mango Popsicles FAQs
Here are some answers to questions you may have about these Mango Popsicles.
Allowing them to freeze overnight would be optimal, but 4 – 6 hours in the freezer should do the trick as well.
Either will work just fine but just make sure the mangos are ripe for the best flavor.
If using frozen mango, allow it to thaw before blending with the other ingredients.
The cornstarch will help to keep the popsicles creamy. It also helps the popsicles not to become icy when you bite into them plus it is important to hold the flavor and texture.
You can store your homemade popsicles in the freezer for 1 – 2 months – if they last that long. 😉
They will keep longer in the freezer than the recommended 1 – 2 months, but the texture may change, and they could start to develop a layer of frost of them.
