How To Use This Secret Message From Santa Printable

Here’s everything you need to know and have on hand in order to finish this printable as well as how to use it.

NOTE: You can use these with just your children, but there are 12 puzzles, so it’s also a good idea for a great way to entertain a group of people at a holiday party to classroom party. Make it contest among family members!

Secret Message Decoder Printable Instructions

  1. Deliver the printables to your child in any of the different ways I suggested above.
  2. Encourage your child to use the special decoder key wheel to decipher the symbols in the message. NOTE: you may need to help them put it together.  

This is a great exercise in problem-solving and can be a SUPER fun family activity (especially when someone makes a mistake in their decoding!).

How To Receive These Secret Messages In The Mail From Santa

If you’d like to add even more mystery and wonder to Santa’s secret message, you can have your child receive these printable secret messages from Santa in the mail! Here’s how:

The US Post Office has you covered by providing an easy way to get a letter back with an actual North Pole postmark! Send your child’s special secret Santa experience through their Greetings from the North Pole Post Office program.

To get a letter from Santa postmarked from the North Pole, here’s what you need to do:

  1. Have your child write a letter to Santa and put it in an envelope addressed to: Santa Claus, North Pole.
  2. Print off this free printable Secret Message Letter from Santa (don’t include the answer key!).
  3. Put both letters into an envelope addressed to your child.
  4. Add the return address: SANTA, NORTH POLE, to the envelope.
  5. Make sure a First-Class Mail stamp is affixed to the envelope.
  6. Put the complete envelope into another larger envelope, with required postage, and address it to:

NORTH POLE POSTMARK
POSTMASTER
4141 POSTMARK DR
ANCHORAGE AK 99530-9998

The USPS recommends sending your letters by December 7th so that they can be received by the Anchorage, AK, Postmaster no later than December 14.

Santa’s helpers in Anchorage, AK, will take care of the rest and your child will delight in receiving mail from Santa!
