Have you heard of the Starbucks secret menu of Halloween drinks? Not long ago, I shared a copycat Hocus Pocus Frappuccino from the secret menu.

Today I have a new one, this time from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter: the Polyjuice Potion Frappuccino.

Like our Starbucks Butterbeer Latte, this is a great drink to enjoy around Halloween. We also have a delicious Harry Potter Pumpkin Juice recipe as part of our collection!

Now, in the books (and movies), drinking Polyjuice Potion is not a fun experience, causing more than its fair share of gag reflexes.

Unlike its magical elixir counterpart, the Polyjuice Potion Frappuccino is delicious! You won’t look like someone else after drinking it, but you WILL enjoy a yummy drink and an energy boost!

What is the Starbucks Secret menu?

The secret menu items are drinks from the regular menu that baristas and customers have modified. You won’t find these drinks on any posted menu, so Starbucks baristas aren’t officially trained on how to make them.

How Do I Order A Polyjuice Potion Frappuccino At Starbucks?

This beverage, with it’s green color, looks just like the potion Hermione brews in the Harry Potter books.

If you want to order one in a Starbucks cafe, you’ll need to give the baristas these instructions:

  1. Order a Grande Green Tea Frappuccino with coconut milk.
  2. Request a scoop of ginger turmeric powder
  3. Add one pump of pineapple syrup.
  4. Top it off with a sprinkling of matcha and ginger powder.

Can You Order This Frappuccino Any Time Of The Year?

The Polyjuice Potion Frappuccino seems like a Halloween-themed drink, and it IS. But there’s no reason why you can enjoy it anytime you watch a Harry Potter movie (or just want to drink it)!

All the ingredients in this recipe come from the Starbucks regular menu. You won’t need to steal any crazy-sounding items from Snape’s stores.

But even better than spending around $5-6 on a single drink, you can easily make this one at home!

Variation Ideas

If you don’t like the pineapple flavor or want to add a rich coffee flavor, try changing up this Polyjuice Potion recipe with these variations.

NOTE: I wouldn’t recommend making this drink with espresso if you are giving it to kids. Just stick with the matcha green tea powder and other ingredients.
