Supplies Needed For Handprint Penguin Craft

• Construction Paper – black, pink, orange, and white, plus any other colors you like for the background
• Scissors – kids’ size to adult, depending on the age of your crafters
• Glue – Elmer’s or glue dots
• Marker – you might prefer colored markers for drawing scenery around your penguin
• Penguin handprint craft template – optional, but could make cutting out the pieces much easier for younger kids!

How to Make The Handprint Penguin Craft

1. Cut out the template pieces – Download the templates and trace them on the designated colors of construction paper. Cut them out.
2. Trace your child’s hand (or let them trace their own hand – or use the hand part of the template) on a piece of black construction paper or cardstock. Cut it out.
3. Glue the white face on the black handprint.
4. Complete the face and feet – Place the remaining pieces (nose, eyes, cheeks, feet) on the black handprint and glue them in place.
