Not only was Dr. Seuss one of my favorite authors when I was a kid, but he was also one of my favorites to read to my own kids when they were little. Such titles as How The Grinch Stole Christmas, The Lorax, And Horton Hears A Who are still some of my favorites!
Dr. Seuss’s birthday is coming up on March 2nd, so elementary schools everywhere will celebrate Read Across America week in honor of Dr. Seuss’s timeless tales.
Many classrooms across the country with kids of all ages also celebrate the day by encouraging reading and having fun with crafts, recipes, and other activities!
