How To Make Witch Cupcakes

These cute witch hat cupcakes are SO much easier to make than they look. I LOVE recipes like that! Just follow these steps.

Step 1

Pre-heat oven and bake cupcakes per recipe and cool completely.

Step 2

Melt chocolate and shortening together to make chocolate thin enough for dipping the cookies and cones.

Step 3

Dip cookies and cones in chocolate to make the witch hats and set aside (or, better yet, place in refrigerator to set).

Step 4

It’s time to frost cupcakes! Add frosting onto cooled cupcakes, alternating colors as you wish (one cupcake with purple frosting, one cupcake with green frosting, etc.).

Step 5

Pipe a line of frosting around the opening of the cone and place it in the center of the cookie to create the witch hat.

Step 6

Pipe frosting around where the cookie and ice cream cone hat meet and pour on sprinkles to create the brim of the hat.

Step 7

Use gray frosting to pipe hair on one side of the homemade cupcakes.

Step 8

Place the hat on top of cupcake at a slight angle for best results.

Step 9

Add deco eyes and jellybean nose to complete this easy treat.
