Recipe Tips
- Don’t skip the chilling times (there are 3). Peanut butter tends to get gooey when it’s handled. Keeping it chilled to prevent it from becoming quite messy.
- Dip the trees in thin layers of chocolate. You can always dip more than once!
- You might find it easier to use a double boiler pan to melt the chocolate and get it smooth.
- If you don’t have a tree-shaped cookie cutter, another option is to use silicone molds. The silicone pan can be bent to remove the peanut butter trees more easily.
- Tap the tree to help the excess chocolate to run off and prevent large globs of chocolate from forming and making your tree look misshapen.
