Winter Wonderland Cupcakes Recipe Notes And Tips
- I used a box cake mix, but you could use your favorite homemade cupcake recipe. Or you could buy premade cupcakes at the grocery store!
- If you use store-bought frosting, it may be too thin to pipe on the cupcakes and hold up. If you need to make it thicker, simply add a tablespoon of powdered sugar at a time and mix. Repeat until you reach the desired consistency.
Variations Of Winter Cupcakes To Try
- Add food coloring to the frosting and coconut flakes to make them blue, if you want. If you do this, I recommend using blue sprinkles on the candy Christmas trees.
- Make chocolate cupcakes for the chocolate-lovers!
- Use white sprinkles instead of coconut flakes.
