This process is so super simple! Just follow these directions.
Step 1
Grab all of your supplies for this project.
Step 2
Open one treat bag and fold over a cup.
Step 3
Grab a second treat bag, cut off about 1/2 inch of the tip and place it inside the bag folded over the cup.
Step 4
Portion out cocoa and pour into second treat bag (this works as a funnel for your cocoa and eliminates cocoa residue)
Step 5
Carefully pull up the second bag without getting cocoa everywhere.
Step 6
Add chocolate chips (mini or regular) on top.
Step 7
Add mini marshmallows and seal with the twist tie that came inside your treat bags.
Step 8
Glue on eyes and Pom nose.
Putting The Final Touches On The Antlers
Once you get the cones filled, it’s time to make these cones look like reindeer!
- Fold a pipe cleaner in half and wrap around the twist tie.
- Then fold the antlers into position.
Reindeer Hot Cocoa Cones Notes
Here are a few tips to make these Rudolph cones turn out perfectly each time!
- Piping bags work for this if you can’ʼt find treat bags. Treat bags just come with the twist ties.
- Any type of cocoa can be used (but I highly recommend DIY hot cocoa mix).
How Much Hot Cocoa Does One Cone Make?
Since each 6 oz cup of hot cocoa needs 3 tablespoons of cocoa, one cocoa cone will make about 60 ounces, or 10 cups, of cocoa.
